How to find your ring size

Rings are measured according to the circumference of your finger. You can measure your ring size using a piece of jewellery that you already have and know fits the intended finger. Use a ruler to measure the diameter of the inside of the ring, then look up the measurement on the above chart to find the corresponding ring size.

Your ring should fit snugly on your finger without risk of falling off.

Not too tight. Not too loose. You do not want to be hurting yourself or putting too much pressure on the ring or your finger getting it on and off. It should just be able to fit over the largest part of your finger which is often the knuckle for most people.

Choose the correct finger.

Always measure the specific finger you're fitting for the most accurate results.

Wide rings require a bigger size.

Bands approximately 6mm wide or more generally require a slightly larger size for most people.

Measure your ring size in the evening.

Most people’s fingers tend to be larger in the evening and slimmer in the morning.

Check your ring size more than once.

This applies to both a simple home check or even a proper sizing in-store with a jeweller. Your fingers will swell in warmer weather and vice-versa in cold weather.
